We had so much fun creating gingerbread houses. Thanks to our child development class for coming in and helping out. The houses were beautiful, colorful, and most of all filled with lots of sugary decorations! The biggest challenge was not eating any of candy at all! They did a good job. ~ Ms. Jennifer We sent off the last school week of 2019 in fantastic fashion with a pancakes and cocoa party! The students from Ms. Lutz's Child Developement class joined our Pre-K class where we feasted on pancakes and said a cocoa/cider cheers to another great year gone by. We also brushed off these rainy days with one of our favorite activities...GYM TIME! We set up obstacle courses, played hide and seek, practiced our tumbling and ran off those gloomy day grumbles! ~Ms. Leandra This week both of our preschool classes got to go read with Ms. Kathi. The Pre-K class already goes once a month, so it was a special time for the Threes Class to go. Ms. Kathi is a teacher at Skyline high that loves to take the time to read to our students. The preschoolers think its great to go to her class like the big kids do. She always picks out the best books for the kids and they love listing to her read them. They even had a little dance party after reading!! What a great night we had at our winter art party. It was so much fun seeing all the preschoolers and their families coming together create some great art. Thank you to Ms. Betsy for leading the students in our art project. Their snowman paintings turned out so good! It was also a lot of fun to have the Holly Street Preschool Academy students join us. To keep with the winter theme we did tons of wonderful snowflake projects in class this week. We made them with marshmallows and pretzels, pipe cleaners and even tissue paper. ~Ms.Jennifer |
