Our preschool may be closed, but our preschoolers are still busy at home. We love that they are creating, celebrating, and learning with their families. Ms Sunny and I miss you all very much! See you later, alligator.
Bye-bye, butterfly. Give a hug, ladybug. Be sweet, parakeet. Blow a kiss, jellyfish. See you soon, raccoon. Take care, polar bear. Out the door, dinosaur. So long, King Kong. And "bye", said the fly. Our lesson now is over until April 24th. Goodbye, goodbye, we'll see you again. We hope you had a nice time. And we hope you come again. Goodbye, friends! When Dr. Seuss is the theme for the week, you know things will get a little wacky. We've made hats and socks like those in The Cat in the Hat or Fox in Socks. We also continued our concentric circle water color project inspired by Dr. Seuss' Oh, the Places You'll go! and the abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky. The afternoon group made fluffy Truffula trees by pinching bright tissue paper.
Some of our kids insist that the classroom even looked wacky on Wednesday, like in the book Wacky Wednesday, but us teachers don't remember anything out of the ordinary. -Ms. Sunny |
